ABOUT TYSON
A couture collision of streetwear and sportswear.
Tyson Gibson is a Canadian fashion designer redefining what it means to merge craftsmanship, culture, and creativity. His work lives at the intersection of art and sport, each garment a patchworked statement piece... made entirely by hand, one of one, believing in sustainability through reworking. Every Tyson Gibson carries 100% originality, loud yet intentional, structured yet chaotic, speaking to those who crave individuality in a world of mass production and copy-paste trends.
With a foundation in upcycling and bespoke tailoring, Tyson transforms vintage and secondhand materials into futuristic silhouettes that bridge eras and lifestyles. His creations are worn by athletes, musicians, and tastemakers who value rarity and self-expression. Each piece is designed to be as timeless as it is daring. Sustainability isn’t a marketing point for Tyson; it’s a practice. Every project pushes the limits of what can be done with as little new material as possible, without ever compromising design or quality.
What began as a post-graduation experiment evolved into a distinct creative vision after a chance collaboration with stylist Leila Bani led his first collection to be featured by Marcus Eriksson, alongside icons like LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Soon after, his custom jackets found their way onto the backs of NFL players including Chase Claypool, Tee Higgins, Joe Haden, and Cam Jordan, cementing his role as a designer whose work naturally crosses into the worlds of sport, art, and street culture.
For Tyson, fashion is a connection between generations, people, and the past and the future. Every stitch holds a moment in time... reconstructed, reimagined, and reborn.
